Frequently Asked Questions...

Q - How far do you travel, what areas do you play?
A - Our main areas are Kent, Essex, Surrey, London and Sussex. But we can perform anywhere.

Q - Can I see you play 'live'?
A - We try to do 2-3 public gigs a year so people can see us perform. Dates will be posted online. If we have
nothing public you can come see us rehearse.

Q - I can't seem to listen to the tracks online, can you send me your demo CD?
A - Of course, just fill out the enquiry form on the contact page and we’ll get one to you straight away. It's
free and it makes a great coaster!

Q - How do I go about make a booking?
A - Just fill out the form on the contact page and we’ll get the ball rolling.

Q - How much deposit do I pay to secure a booking?
A - The band requires £100 non refundable deposit at the time of booking. The balance can then be paid by
cheque 2 weeks before your event or cash on the night before the performance.

Q - Can I book you provisionally?
A - Yes you can. We will hold a date for you for 2 weeks. If you wish for us to hold a date longer please
contact us and we’ll see what we can do. (Longer period excludes May - September)

Q - Can we request a specific song for our 'first dance'?
A - Yes, we would love to play your first dance, it makes us feel part of the day. If it’s not in our repertoire we
will need some time to learn it.

Q - What equipment do you use?
A - We come equipped with a powerful PA system, radio mic for speeches, CD players, iPod connections,
disco lights and stage lighting. All this at no extra charge.

Q - How long does it take you to set up your equipment?
A - It takes us about 1 hour for us to fully set up and to sound check. Because of the way some venues
have the rooms set up it's not always practical for us to run a sound check.

Q - How much room do you need?
A - Most venues will know how much space a band will take up. As a guide we need about 5 metres wide by
3 metres deep and we don’t need a stage. We’ll also need at least 4 13amp power points. If you have a
marquee please make sure the generator is powerful enough.

Q - Have you got full Public Liability cover and a current PAT certificate?
A - Yes we have public liability up to £2 million and all our equipment is tested yearly. A copy of the
  certificate is available on request.

Q - Can we use your sound system for speeches/announcements etc?
A - Yes, but this normally means we need to set up the PA in the morning. If we can't, we have powered
speakers that we can plug a Mic into. There's always something we can do to help.

Q - How long do you play for?
A - We normally play from 9pm - 10pm then 10:30pm - 11:30pm (about 2 hours). or 8:30pm - 9:15pm then
9:45pm - 10:30pm then 10:45pm - 11:30pm. But we can start earlier and play for longer if required. It
  really is your call.

Q - Can you provide pre-recorded music when you're not performing?
A - We come complete with CD players and ipod connection as standard. We can play our own music or if
you wish to use your ipod/playlists just let us know. If you wanted music whilst you are eating let us know
and well see what we can do, after all it's your event so it's your choice.

Q - Do you need feeding?
A - Yes but not after midnight (who knows what will happen)! If we are there all day (morning set up) we will
need a full meal and refreshments. If we just set up in the evening some sandwiches put by or access to
the buffet would be fine. (A little slice of cake always goes down well with the drummer)!

Q - What if the band gets sick/injured?
A - Every member of the band has someone who can step in for them at short notice. So no matter what
you will have a full band.

Q - Do I need to arrange a changing room for you?
A - Yes please, most venues will have an area for this. We wear scruffs when loading the equipment into
the venue so we would like somewhere to change.

Q - What happens if I've got a question that isn't answered here?
A - Then drop us a line or email us. We’ll be more than happy to chat.
